Fees and Funding

Funding

If you live and work in England you may be entitled to 30 hours funded childcare support from the term after your child turns 9 months old, until they start school.

We accept Early years Entitlement Funding up to 15 hours and extended entitlement funding up to 30 hours per week with a relevant code. Information regarding what funding you may be entitled to is available via Devon County Council:

Attendance

If for some reason your child is unable to attend a preschool session please let us know as soon as possible, either by ringing the school office or e-mailing us. This includes if you will need to visit the  doctors/dentist/hospital appointments, sickness, holidays etc.

If your child is absent, we ask that you fill in an absence form, either before or after their return to the preschool. This is really important evidence as proof of your child’s non-attendance for the funding entitlement. Please let us know in good time if you are going away on holiday during term time.

Please note that if you are in receipt of the Early Years Entitlement that you must send your child to all the sessions that you are claiming payment for, unless your child is unwell, or you are on holiday. When you sign the form you are entering into a contract with Devon County Council and any lack of attendance has financial consequences.
