Collective Worship
At Woodbury, Collective Worship is an important part of our school day when we come together to take time to worship and reflect.
Our Collective Worship takes many forms. We often come together as a whole school but we also worship within our key stages and as classes. All of our services are based upon Christian values and teachings, often referring to the Bible and relating the message to how we live our lives. Many people lead our Collective Worship including the staff, our vicar and the children. Whenever the opportunity arises we also invite visitors to take part in worship.
It is a legal requirement for schools to have a daily act of Collective Worship. Parents have the right to withdraw their children from these and any parent considering this should have early discussions with Miss Pyle.
