Learning Support Assistant Grade B or  C - £12.45 - £13.26 per hour depending on experience  28.25 hours per week

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support a delightful pupil with SEND in our foundation class. This role will support learning, daily routines and language development.

The role is for 5 mornings and 3 afternoons per week, to start as soon as possible or in January 2025. We are happy to consider a degree of flexibility so this could be either one role or a job share. Please indicate on the application form if you are interested in all of the hours as one role or job share.

The role will require a forward thinking, creative approach. You will need to be calm, cheerful, proactive and flexible. A positive and encouraging attitude is essential, as is kindness and an ability to use your initiative.

Successful applicants need to be effective team players who will go the extra-mile for the children and team. Experience of working with children with autism within a school environment would be an advantage.

We are a committed team, who work together to support one another to achieve the best for the children of our school. Training and support will be given. If the above excites you, we would love to hear from you.

Woodbury C of E Primary school is an exciting and supportive place to work. Situated within a village on the outskirts of Exeter, it benefits from being at the heart of the community whilst working in partnership with Pinhoe C of E Primary School, as part of the Cedar Tree Federation. If you would be interested in this role and would like to find out more, please contact Mrs Julie Simpson via woodburyadmin@cedartreefederation.org and we will organise a call back for you.
